support when needed
Welcome to William Whitmey Funeral Directors
Offering support & guidance to each family we serve.

As your funeral director we perform a unique and indispensable role in society.
It is a role part professional and we believe part vocational. We are always available in your time of need providing emotional, expert and practical support.
The experience of our sympathetic ear is all the more valuable because we are dealing with the practicalities of the funeral.
We will listen to you and your wishes and help you to decide the type of funeral that you want. We will inform you of the procedures that need to be followed and the legal forms that need to be completed.
Our experience and expertise extend beyond that required from the day to day business as we are sympathetic towards all ethnic and religious groups. We are aware of the special needs involved in supporting those who have suffered a sudden and unexpected death.

We are trained to act as a professional and confident advisor who ensures that arrangements are carried out with efficiency and the dignity that this most difficult time demands.
We have a comfortable waiting area and reception which leads to a private arranging room where you will be able to discuss your every requirement in complete privacy. Our Private Chapel of Rest is available to those who wish to view the deceased by appointment only.
