We unfortunately lost our Mum in December 2022. She was 56, we knew she was poorly, but it still came as a shock. I had previously used William whitmey for my husbands Grandad’s funeral, and they did that beautifully.

So when it came to organising for Mum, my sister and I phoned a few funeral directors, one she had known, and Willaim Whitmey. I won’t name the other, but it was a no brainer and was clear that William Whitmey were the best option. The team are so kind, compassionate and professional, and we had no doubt that they would look after Mum when the time came. And unfortunately the time did come. We phoned Alex at about 2am. He was kind and compassionate and gave us his condolences. Him and another member of his team shortly arrived, they didn’t keep us waiting long at all even though we were in Maidstone. It was a relief to know Mum would be in good hands. Through the whole process we were so well supported. The ceremony itself was so beautiful and the team at William Whitmey were so respectful of all Mum had been through in her life, they were also really patient with me when

I needed a minute before entering the crematorium.

I genuinely couldn’t have wished for anyone better, and although I hope there are no more losses in my family for a long while, should that happen I wouldn’t hesitate to use William Whitmey again. I can’t thank you enough, all of you, for your kindness, for being so genuine and caring, for supporting my family and I, and most of all, for looking after my Mum so we’ll on her last journey.
